Camera scan, offline sales, and a home-screen register
On phones and tablets the register can scan a barcode with the camera, queue a cash sale while offline, keep the catalog after reload, install to the home screen, and hold the screen on during a shift. Desktop looks the same.
New
- A camera scan button appears only when the browser can read barcodes. An EAN-13 or Code 128 scan adds the item. Other browsers keep the keyboard wedge.
- An offline banner shows the queued sales count. A cash sale replays once on reconnect with the same key and never duplicates. Conflicts stay in a list to drop.
Improved
- The catalog stays on this device so a reload offline still shows products. Installing the register keeps the screen awake during a shift.
- Reload keeps the open cart, held tickets, and register state from local storage.
