Cookie Policy
Last updated: 30 May 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Sastemny uses cookies and similar technologies (local storage, session storage, pixels) on our marketing sites and workspace. It should be read with our Privacy Policy. Under Egyptian law, non-essential cookies require informed consent where applicable.
You can change preference cookies in your browser; essential cookies are required to sign in.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We use them to keep sessions secure, remember language and theme, and understand aggregate usage.
2. Strictly necessary cookies
Purpose: authentication, fraud prevention, load balancing, and security. Legal basis: contractual necessity and legitimate interest. These cannot be disabled while using the Service.
Examples: session identifiers, CSRF tokens, workspace routing cookies.
3. Preference cookies
Purpose: remember language (en/ar), currency (EGP/USD), theme (light/dark), and market cookies on eg.sastemny.app. Legal basis: your consent or legitimate interest for UX consistency.
Retention: typically up to 12 months unless you clear browser storage.
4. Analytics and diagnostics
Purpose: measure page views, errors, and performance in aggregate. We do not use analytics to sell personal data. Legal basis: consent where required, otherwise legitimate interest with minimisation.
You may block analytics via browser settings; core features will still work.
5. Third-party cookies
Embedded content or OAuth flows (e.g. Meta login) may set their own cookies governed by the third party’s policy. Review those policies before connecting integrations.
6. How to control cookies
Use browser settings to delete or block cookies. Blocking essential cookies may prevent sign-in. For workspace-only users, logging out clears session cookies.
7. Updates
We may update this policy; the “Last updated” date will change. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
