A phone-ready point of sale register
The register now uses a bottom-sheet cart on phones, a side-by-side grid and cart on tablets, and keeps the desktop layout unchanged. Category chips scroll, the header stays compact, and customer, fulfillment, time window, and area pickers open as one-screen steps.
New
- On phones the cart is a bottom sheet with a sticky total and Pay bar that stays on screen. One tap opens or closes the cart.
- Tablets from 768 to 1023 pixels show the product grid and cart side by side. The cart is at least 20 rem wide and the grid keeps three or more columns.
Improved
- Phone landscape keeps a compact header, a two-column catalog, and the cart sheet. Category chips scroll sideways and header actions sit in a menu so the bar stays at 56 pixels.
- Customer, delivery or pickup, the open time window, and each workspace area picker are step sheets on phones. The 30-minute to 8-hour window rules stay in place.
